Learn about the micro-grant process

Caring for Each and All Foundation (CEAF) provides micro-grants between $250-1000 to eligible projects. Many of the large grant makers overlook small projects that may still have a large impact.  We know there are many in our community searching for ways to better the lives of those around them and need only a small amount of capital to do so.

Learn about whether your idea is eligible for a grant by reading the information below.

Eligible projects

While CEAF wishes we could support all projects for all those in need, we are focused on supporting community projects in Huntington Beach and the surrounding areas.  Below are some examples of projects we will support.

School library books

Golden View Elementary school initiated a Dual Langauge Immersion kindergarten in the Fall of 2025.  The chronically underfunded school library did not have any bilingual books at that time.  CEAF offered the school $500 towards the purchase of bilingual Spanish/English elementary age books.

Neighbor-hood Food Pantry

An individual in small housing tract with mixed houses, apartments, condos, etc wanted to building a free neighboorhood food pantry in their front yard to support ending local hunger.  CEAF offered this individual $1000 for supplies and labor.

Community program

To celebrate the beginning of summer, local Episcopal church wanted to host a bubble party for the community children at a local park.  All children and families in the area would be welcome without charge, to connect with other families and enjoy a day in the sun.  CEAF offered $300 to pay for a face painter for the event.

Garden
Work

Local senior living center wanted to build a community garden to support their residents.  CEAF offered $800 for raised bed garden supplies.
